First snow in Leipzig

After some very warm days in Leipzig we had the first showing of winter today. For a few hours we had snow on the ground. Now it is all melting away. But here is the proof from this afternoon:

Scandinavia's first astronaut

Scandinavia sent its first astronaut to space this past weekend. Christer Fuglesang, a Swede with a Norwegian father, started his trip to space on board the Discovery.
